WDT's Mission

My goal is to educate individuals to be better prepared to defend themselves. I want to help others become comfortable and confident in themselves, as well as their equipment, along with increasing speed, efficiency, and consistency. It is important to build a community of individuals who can defend themselves. This country, but especially, this state, needs reliable, safe, and welcoming gun owners.

I was in the Army at Fort Bragg. I've also worked in security for a while, and most recently, I've sold firearms for a local shop. However, the bulk of my experience with firearms and shooting comes from my personal drive to improve. I am constantly seeking to better myself through the most effective training methods available. With my ability to teach and my understanding of shooting and tactics, I hope to help others grow and learn

Why did I start this company?

I struggled to find the right training facility in Portland. It was challenging to find a place that met my needs for realistic training. I didn't want to drive long distances only to encounter restrictive range rules that limited my training options, such as only shooting from static positions or not being able to practice shooting around cover and concealment or perform complex drills.

I believe in the importance of proper training and know that there are many others who share that desire. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I am committed to helping others learn how to defend themselves effectively. One of my goals is to contribute to building a more knowledgeable firearms community in Portland, Oregon.
